St Georges Choir
We are looking for adults and young people (year 7 and above) who enjoy singing, want to learn and are keen to develop their skills singing in a choir.

We offer choral scholarships to suitable candidates aged 11-18. A choral scholarship at St George’s could be your launch pad for taking singing further and university opportunities.
St George’s is friendly, open and enthusiastic about the Choir.
We are not looking for the finished product! Rather we are looking for people with an interest in singing, who want to learn and take up a great opportunity. It does not matter which voice part you sing, or whether you are not yet sure of this (soprano, alto, tenor or bass).

Our Director of Music worked in a number of different musical and administrative roles atthe cathedrals of Coventry, Newcastle and Salisbury. He came to Cullercoats shortly after retiring from a post at York Minster in 2023.
