Coronavirus and our church

Happily St. George's Church is OPEN for public worship and private prayer. We are also broadcasting a celebration of the Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8 a.m.,

See our Worship page for details of the liturgy on Sunday and during the week.

It is really important that you should feel safe when you come to St. George's church. Masks are now discretionary. We ask everyone to use the hand sanitisers as you come into the church. If keeping social distance is important for you, please sit in one of the side aisles where every other pew is ribboned off, or come to one of our weekday services if you feel the larger number of people at our main service on Sunday morning is too much. We are singing in church. Our pews are regularly wiped down with anti-bacterial cleaners. Holy Communion continues to be administered in one kind only.

Keeping in Touch

We have a Facebook page! 'Parish of St George, Cullercoats' look us up and tell us you like it! We also have a Whats App Group so we can chat through the week and keep each other company!

You can watch a broadcast of our worship Sunday by Sunday on our Facebook page, or on YouTube

Helping Out

If you can lend a hand with cleaning the church surfaces please let Fr. Adrian know

Praying together while we cannot be together

Please continue to pray for members of our church family who are sick, those who are required to isolate, and all those who are anxious about getting out and about.
